The PONYS welcome you to the 11th EPS Young Minds Leadership Meeting!
This major event will be held in Naples (Italy) on 19th – 20th May 2023 and it is going to be, as usual, an opportunity for each Young Minds section to present their activities through their delegates.
These two days, which will be dedicated to science and professional development, are also going to represent an opportunity for you to get in touch with new like-minded people working in environments which are quite different from yours. Brilliant lectures will be interspersed with amusing and challenging social activities.
The first day, the activities will be held in the Monte Sant’Angelo university complex which we will let you explore in a non-traditional way: an amazing physics photo hunt!
Three lectures are scheduled for this day, two of these will cover important and interesting scientific aspects such as the new frontiers on particle detection. The third one will be on the professional development side and will talk about the comfort zone and how to avoid being trapped in it.
The second day will be exciting as well as we will visit a picturesque historical building, the SS. Marcellino and Festo university complex. While there, captivating topics will be covered such as: a panel discussion on the modern publishing world.
The building is in the center of the historical part of Naples so you will also have the chance to visit our city, one of the most fascinating in the entire Europe.
EPS Young Minds (YM) is an international project of the European Physical Society, with the participation of more than 30 countries around the world.
